Pagani

Horaci Pagani is the founder of Pagani motor company, which is an Italian manufacturer. Interestingly, Horaci use to work for Lamborghini, hence the reason many people compare Pagani to Lamborghini. The company is a fairly new company in comparison to many of the other automobile manufacturers out there, having got its start in 1992. However, the company has made itself a reputation for developing fine sports cars, that have performance levels that can compete with the best of them.

Though the company was first started in 1992, they did not release a car to the public until the Geneva Show in 1999. The car that they released was called Zonda C12, however has been known by many names, C8 Project and the Fangio F1. However, the name Fangio F1 was scraped once the race car driver that it was meant to honor died. Interestingly, the Zonda is the only car that Pagani produces, however, have various models within the series. However, the C9 is another concept that the car company is toying with and is supposed to replace the Zonda completely.

The Zonda contains a V12 engine that is supplied to Pagani by Mercedes-Benz, striking up a business relationship that has last for numerous years, as well as lasting for years to come. The Zonda has many notable design concepts that can only be found in Pagani cars, including the four exhaust pipes in the back, as well as being made of light weight carbon in order to maximize performance.

These cars are very hard to come by. For example, when Pagani made announcements that they were going to release the Zonda Cinque, they also announced that only five cars of the model would be manufactured, and these five models were already spoken for when the announcement came. The Pagani though it is a young company, has already reached the point where they can be choosy over who purchases their vehicles, how many they make and so on. Which could be the reason that the company has not had the financial problems that so many other auto makers have had in this time of decreased sales in the auto market.

One thing is for sure when looking at the cars that Pagani designs, these are cars that are futuristic in their looks, however, the company is able to make them work for the public, which goes to show the technology that the company is producing and adding to the automotive world. As of right now, Pagani does not seem to be having any financial trouble as many of the other automakers are, which is good news for those hardcore fans of high performance vehicles.

Pagani's are expensive, which means you are probably not going to see them driving around your block any time soon. However, go to the locations that many elite members of society live and you will more than likely run across a Zonda or two.
